Preoperative approach

In a 2026 retrospective human study, the combination of ozone-treated/oxygen-rich PRP and minoxidil was found to be associated with favorable outcomes; controlled prospective confirmation is required.

Scalp seborrhea

In a 2026 randomized study, a multicomponent scalp formulation containing ozonated oil showed a positive signal in seborrhea. The result cannot be attributed to ozone alone.
