Skin rejuvenation with polynucleotide (PN) / salmon DNA
Polynucleotide-based skin treatments are one of the regenerative aesthetic approaches aiming to support skin moisture, elasticity, the appearance of fine lines, and overall tissue quality. The treatment plan is personalized according to the structure of areas such as the face, eye contour, neck, and décolleté.
Which ingredients do we prefer?
In our Bodrum clinic, we make selections based on ingredients and intended use rather than focusing on brands. In suitable patients, we prefer products with appropriate administration routes and medical intended uses that contain ingredients supporting skin quality, such as high-purity polynucleotide (PN), PDRN/Sodium DNA, and, when necessary, hyaluronic acid.
Comfortable options for those hesitant about needles
In patients with needle fear, needle-free transdermal technologies can be utilized if the approved application method of the product to be used is suitable. For products requiring injection, controlled automated delivery systems, fine-needle techniques, and appropriate local comfort methods can be considered. Not every product is suitable for needle-free application.
Who can it be considered for?
It can be planned following an evaluation in individuals with dryness, fine lines, loss of elasticity, a dull appearance, or reduced skin quality around the eyes. Results vary from person to person, and the procedure does not aim to create prominent volume like fillers.
Our approach in our Bodrum clinic
First, we evaluate the skin structure and aging pattern, and determine which options, such as PN/PDRN, skin boosters, energy-based treatments, or Endolifting, would be more suitable either alone or in combination.
Frequently asked questions
Is salmon DNA a filler?
No. The primary goal is not to add volume, but to support skin quality.
How many sessions are required?
The number of sessions is determined after an examination based on the product used, the treated area, skin structure, and target goals.
Note: Prior to the procedure, pregnancy, active infection, immune system-related conditions, medications used, and previous aesthetic procedures must be evaluated by a physician.
