What is Med Matrix?
Med Matrix is promoted by its manufacturer as a therapeutic device combining different modalities—such as rhythmic direct current, negative pressure/cupping-like application, electroacupuncture, System Information Therapy (SIT), and bioresonance—into a single system.
The purpose of combined modalities
The device’s various modules are aimed at different goals such as local circulation, tissue stimulation, relaxation, regulation, and frequency-based feedback. Having multiple modalities in the same device allows the application to be planned in different combinations according to individual goals.
How can the “matrix detox” approach be addressed?
Manufacturer materials feature concepts such as “matrix detoxification” and toxin elimination. In our clinic, we approach these expressions as a broad metabolic and tissue support framework; in cases of suspected genuine heavy metal or toxic exposure, we additionally utilize agent-specific history, laboratory testing, and, when necessary, toxicological evaluation.
Regeneration and tissue support
Direct current, local negative pressure, and other physical modalities may be evaluated in areas such as microcirculation, relaxation, and local tissue response. It is more meaningful to interpret manufacturer concepts like “cellular regeneration” or “DNA-level support” in the clinic by correlating them with the individual’s symptoms, function, and tissue goals, and monitoring the outcomes with measurable indicators.
Negative pressure application
The negative pressure/cupping-like module can be used for the purpose of local blood flow and tissue stimulation. Because temporary redness, bruising, or tenderness may develop, an individualized evaluation is performed in cases of anticoagulant use, bleeding tendency, active skin infection, or sensitive skin conditions.
Regulatory information
The manufacturer uses the designations Class 2A and CE-marked device for Med Matrix. Regulatory classification provides information regarding the technical framework of the device; in clinical practice, however, the objective of each modality and the individual’s response are evaluated separately.

We plan the Med Matrix application not as a “single device solving every problem,” but as a complementary program composed of modules selected according to the individual’s clinical goals. If there are circulation, tissue, pain, or lifestyle goals, we monitor these alongside physical examination and, when necessary, objective measurements.
