Body fillers and body contouring
For selected volume deficiencies in body contour, medical filler products suitable for body use may be considered in some patients. Unlike facial fillers, because high-volume applications may be involved, patient selection, product indication, and safety evaluation are particularly important.
Which products do we prefer?
We evaluate only hyaluronic acid-based medical products that are appropriate in terms of the anatomical area to be treated and intended use, with verified up-to-date instructions for use. The fact that a product comes in a high-volume package alone does not mean it can be applied to a specific body area.
Filler or Endolifting?
While fillers support volume deficiency, Endolifting is primarily used with the goal of tightening and contour improvement in selected tissues. The method varies depending on whether the issue is volume loss, excess adipose tissue, or laxity.
Safety
Body fillers may involve significant risks, including infection, nodules, asymmetry, and vascular complications. For this reason, a procedure is not planned without evaluating the product’s approved indication and anatomical safety.
