Skin laxity and local contour changes in the thigh area can be influenced by age, weight fluctuations, genetic structure, and connective tissue characteristics. In appropriate individuals, HIFU can be considered for skin tightening and contour support in selected areas.
In which areas can it be applied?
Particularly in the inner and outer thigh, areas with sufficient tissue thickness are evaluated. In thinner and anatomically sensitive areas such as around the knee, the approach should be more conservative. Cartridge depth and energy are selected according to regional tissue thickness.
What can be expected?
The goal is not weight loss, but skin recovery and improvement in local contour. Results vary by individual and develop gradually due to collagen remodeling.
Who may it be suitable for?
Individuals with mild to moderate skin laxity and limited localized fat tissue may be suitable candidates. In cases of prominent cellulite, advanced excess skin, or circulatory issues, different approaches may be required.
Safety
The treatment area is planned taking into account neurovascular structures and bony prominences. Temporary tenderness, edema, or pain may be observed. In cases of active infection or conditions deemed unsuitable during evaluation, the procedure is postponed.

Does HIFU treat cellulite?
HIFU can support skin tightening, but cellulite has multiple components such as fibrous bands, fat tissue, and skin structure. Therefore, HIFU alone may not be sufficient for every type of cellulite.
Does it slim the thighs?
Local contour improvement may be seen in appropriate tissue structures; HIFU is not a general weight loss or widespread slimming treatment.
