The eyebrow area and periorbital region require precise planning due to thin skin structure and dense anatomical proximity. In suitable patients, HIFU can be used to support a mild lifting effect on the outer part of the eyebrow and improve skin quality around the eyes.
How is it planned?
In this region, the goal is not to use high energy, but to deliver controlled energy to the correct anatomical area and appropriate superficial depth. Application is not performed over the eyeball or in unsafe anatomical areas. A plan is created by evaluating the position of the eyebrow, orbital bone margins, and skin thickness.
In which situations can it be considered?
It can be considered in cases of mild eyebrow drooping, fine skin laxity around the eyes, and when aiming for a more rested appearance of the upper face. In pronounced eyelid skin excess or advanced ptosis, HIFU does not replace surgical treatment.
When are the results noticed?
Tissue recovery can be slightly noticeable in the early period; changes due to collagen remodeling develop over weeks. The degree of the effect varies depending on age, skin structure, and the baseline anatomical condition.
Safety
In the periorbital region, experience and anatomical safety margins are particularly important. Temporary sensitivity, edema, or tingling may occur. Applications targeted at the eye area are planned only in suitable areas and with careful energy selection.
