It can be considered in conditions such as mild to moderate neck laxity, lack of definition in the transition from under the chin to the neck, fine wrinkles in the décolleté area, and loss of skin quality. Depth selection is made according to the anatomy of the area; not every cartridge suitable for the face is suitable for the décolleté.
How do results develop?
The effect of HIFU is not based solely on the tightening at the moment of the procedure. Following controlled thermal stimulation, the collagen production and remodeling process continues over weeks. For this reason, results are expected to develop gradually.
Who is it more suitable for?
Individuals with mild to moderate skin laxity who are seeking a non-surgical option may be suitable candidates. In cases of advanced excess skin or prominent platysmal bands, different or combined methods may be required instead of HIFU alone.
Safety
In the neck, application areas are selected carefully due to the thyroid, neurovascular structures, and superficial anatomical regions. The procedure may be postponed in the presence of active infection, open wounds, or medical conditions deemed unsuitable during evaluation. Temporary redness, tenderness, or edema may occur.
