Which ingredients do we prefer?
In suitable products, we evaluate PDRN/Sodium DNA, plant-derived extracellular vesicle/exosome complexes, peptides, hyaluronic acid, and barrier-supporting ingredients. If the product has cosmetic status, it is not used as an injectable product.
Which procedures can it be combined with?
Depending on the skin structure and the product’s instructions for use, it can be considered as part of the care protocol following microneedling, RF microneedling, laser, or other controlled skin rejuvenation procedures.
Advantage of needle-free application
For products suitable for topical/transdermal use, needle-free application technologies can provide a comfortable option for patients with needle anxiety. The level of penetration depends on the technology and molecule used.
Frequently asked questions
Are exosomes and PDRN the same thing?
No. PDRN refers to DNA-derived polynucleotide fragments; exosomes, on the other hand, define vesicles involved in intercellular signaling. Product content and route of administration should be evaluated separately.
Is every exosome product suitable for injection?
No. Some products are for cosmetic and topical use. The route of administration must comply with the medical or cosmetic status of the product and the manufacturer’s instructions for use.
