Male Sexual Health and Longevity

A scientific approach that evaluates erectile function, vascular health, hormones, sleep, and metabolic risks together.

An inseparable part of healthy aging

Sexual longevity is the combined evaluation of hormonal, vascular, neurological, metabolic, and psychosocial factors that affect sexual desire, function, genital comfort, and quality of life. The goal is not to apply the same rejuvenation procedure to everyone, but to identify measurable problems and modifiable risks.

Erectile function and vascular health

Erection is a neurovascular process. New-onset or progressively worsening erectile dysfunction offers an opportunity for evaluation regarding diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidemia, and cardiovascular risks. The treatment plan includes evidence-based options such as exercise, smoking cessation, management of metabolic risks, and PDE5 inhibitors in suitable patients. PDE5 inhibitors are contraindicated in those using nitrates; cardiac safety is evaluated separately.

Testosterone, libido, and healthy aging

Testosterone deficiency is not defined solely by a single low laboratory value; repeated morning measurements under appropriate conditions along with symptoms, and tests such as LH/FSH when necessary, are evaluated. Testosterone therapy is not a general rejuvenation program for men with normal levels; it requires special caution in those planning to have children as it can suppress spermatogenesis.

Nervous system, sleep, and pelvic floor

Performance anxiety, depression, sleep apnea, medication side effects, pelvic pain, and muscle coordination issues can affect sexual functions. Depending on the clinical history, psychosexual support, sleep evaluation, and pelvic floor rehabilitation are considered.

Personalized male sexual health program

  1. Baseline: symptom duration, morning erections, medications, cardiovascular risks, sleep, and relationship context.
  2. Measurement: IIEF-5/SHIM, EHS, blood pressure, waist circumference, necessary metabolic tests, and hormones according to indication.
  3. Treatment: cause-oriented lifestyle and medication adjustments, appropriate pharmacotherapy, and urology/andrology collaboration when necessary.
  4. Follow-up: comparison of function scores, patient goals, treatment tolerance, and metabolic indicators at 6–12 weeks.

Technologies in our clinic: for what purpose do we evaluate them?

QEEG and neurofeedback: May be used according to the clinical context in evaluating accompanying issues such as sleep, stress, attention, and self-regulation. There is no established evidence for the direct treatment of sexual dysfunctions; QEEG alone does not diagnose a sexual disorder.

Ozone therapy: It is a method in which our clinic has application experience. However, it is not a standard treatment with proven efficacy in female or male sexual dysfunctions; we do not promise outcomes of increased circulation or genital rejuvenation.

Bioresonance: It is among the supportive technologies used in our clinic; since there is no reliable clinical evidence in the diagnosis or treatment of sexual dysfunctions, it is not positioned as a substitute for standard diagnosis and treatment.

980/1470 nm diode laser: There are small, uncontrolled clinical studies in female genital tissues. The wavelength of the device alone does not ensure suitability; genital use is not planned without verifying the applicator, energy distribution, manufacturer indication, and safety. There is no validated protocol for erectile dysfunction or penile rejuvenation in men.

Frequently asked questions

Are sexual health problems solely related to aging?

No. Medications, chronic diseases, hormones, stress, and relational factors can play a role.

Are the devices in your clinic a standalone solution?

No. Ozone, bioresonance, and neurofeedback are not proven direct treatments for sexual dysfunctions. The priority is accurate diagnosis and evidence-based options.

Does testosterone increase performance in every man?

No. A standard rejuvenation procedure is not recommended without a clinical indication and safety evaluation.

Scientific basis and level of evidence

Strong/established clinical approach: Cause-oriented evaluation, management of cardiometabolic risks, pharmacological treatments according to indication, local treatments for GSM, and pelvic floor rehabilitation.

In selected patients/conditional: Sex therapy, collaboration with relevant specialties, and specific interventional treatments.

Insufficient or investigational: Ozone, bioresonance, neurofeedback, and 980/1470 nm laser applications for sexual dysfunctions.
